BURKERT 323684 Type 6213 Servo-Assisted 2/2-Way Solenoid Valve

Burkert 323684 Type 6213 servo-assisted 2/2-way solenoid valve. Features a brass body, G1 internal thread, NBR seal, and 24V operation for neutral media up to 10 bar.

BURKERT 323684 Type 6213 Servo-Assisted 2/2-Way Solenoid Valve

Burkert 323684 Type 6213 is a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve designed for controlling, shutting off, and dosing neutral media with a viscosity of up to 21 mm²/s. The spring coupling of the diaphragm supports the opening process in the valve. In its standard variant, the valve requires a minimum differential pressure for full opening. The 323684 model features a brass body, NBR seal, G1 internal thread, and operates on 24V. To reduce electrical power consumption during operation, coils with integrated Kick-and-Drop (KD) electronics featuring double coil technology are available.

Installation

Risk of injury from high pressure

Before loosening lines or valves, switch off the pressure and vent the lines.

Risk of injury from electric shock

Before reaching into the device or the system, switch off the power supply and secure it against reactivation. Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices.

Installation Position

The installation position is optional, but preferably with the actuator upright.

  1. Clean pipelines of any contamination.
  2. Install a dirt trap upstream of the valve inlet (≤ 500 µm).
  3. Hold the device on the body using an open-end wrench and screw into the pipeline. Do not use the solenoid as a lever arm.
  4. Observe the flow direction: the arrow on the body indicates the flow direction.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Risk of injury due to improper maintenance

Maintenance may be carried out by authorised technicians only and with the appropriate tools. Secure the system against unintentional activation.

Solenoid Installation:

  1. Slide solenoid housing onto core guide tube.
  2. Screw solenoid with nut. Always tighten nut with an open-end wrench. Using other tools may damage the device.
  3. Check protective conductor.

Troubleshooting:

  • Valve does not actuate: Check for short circuit or solenoid interruption. Ensure core or core area is not contaminated. Verify operating pressure is within the permitted range.
  • Valve does not close: Check if the interior of the valve is contaminated or if the small control bore in the diaphragm is blocked.
