Burkert Type 8644 electropneumatic automation system (SKU 20134583). 11 mm 12-bank valve island with 12x (2x 3/2) valve functions, G 1/4 port, and 2.5-10 bar pressure range.

BURKERT Type 8644 AirLINE system represents a universal interface between process and system control. It integrates electric and pneumatic building blocks into an assembly, enabling a modular and flexible structure of fieldbus modules, pilot valves, and I/O modules thanks to simple locking technology on the standard rail. The specific model 20134583 is an 11 mm, 12-bank valve island featuring 12x (2x 3/2) valve functions, designed for seamless decentralized use in industrial environments.

The AirLINE system is designed for decentralized use in industrial environments. Electronics and fluidics can be combined particularly easily and efficiently thanks to the modular design.

WARNING
Danger of explosion! If systems in the explosion-protected area are installed in a control cabinet, the control cabinet must be authorized for use in the explosion-protected area and must be large enough to allow the resulting lost heat to be dissipated in a suitable manner to the outside.
The valve block is composed of connection modules/feeds (grouped connections for supply, exhaust air, and control assist air) and valve discs (working connections, various valves).

Valve discs are modular in design and consist of electronic base modules, pneumatic base modules, and valves. On the electronic base module, the digital outputs are switched where the valves are located. Depending on the operating principle of the valve, these outputs switch the internal P channel to the working connections (outputs) of the pneumatic base modules.
TIP
Prevent a pressure drop! To prevent a pressure drop, design the system pressure supply with the largest possible volume.

(Note: Dimensions in mm. n = number of valves)
The pilot valves Type 6524 (single and double valve) and Type 6525 (single valve) consist of a pilot flipper solenoid valve Type 6144 and a pneumatic seat valve. The circuit function allows switching of high pressures with low power consumption and short switching times.
The solenoid valve Type 0460 consists of a pneumatic valve body fitted with a double coil pilot valve. The principle allows switching of high pressures together with low power consumption and fast switching times. All valves are equipped with manual override as a standard.
