BURKERT 364418 3361 Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve

BURKERT Type 3361 electromotive 2-way globe control valve. Features highly precise dynamic control, up to 6 mm/s positioning speed, and IP65/IP67 protection.

BURKERT 364418 3361 Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve

BURKERT Type 3361 electromotive 2-way globe control valve is designed for control tasks under demanding operating conditions. The electromotive actuator with a ball screw positions the control cone with high precision. The valve features a high positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s, reacting almost delay-free to process signals. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position. Each flow-optimised valve body can be equipped with up to 5 different valve seats for precise adaptation to specific requirements.

The actuator and valve are adapted to each other with a closed design and robust surface, ensuring the hygienic requirements of fast and residue-free cleaning. The Type 3361 operates reliably in harsh environmental conditions due to its IP65/IP67 degree of protection and high impact and vibration resistance. The fieldbus-compatible Type 3361 provides functions for process monitoring, valve diagnostics, and predictive maintenance.

Product Features

  • Highly precise, dynamic closed-loop control: Position controller and process controller variants are available.
  • Weather, impact, and vibration resistant design: Suitable for harsh environments with IP65/IP67 and NEMA 4X protection.
  • Safety position: An optional SAFEPOS energy-pack allows the valve to approach a safe position (open, closed, or freely programmable) in case of power failure.
  • Multiple port connections: Available with flange, threaded, welded, and clamp connections.
  • Fieldbus communication: Optional integration for EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, and EtherCAT.

  • Foods and beverages: FDA, USP, EC Regulation 1935/2004, and China food GB Standards.
  • Special media: Variants available for Oxygen and Hydrogen applications.

Product Assembly

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled either by standard analogue signals or via a digital fieldbus.
