BURKERT 20136304 Type 2101 Pneumatically Operated 2/2-Way Globe Valve

BURKERT Type 2101 (SKU 20136304) is a pneumatically operated 2/2-way globe valve designed for decentralised process automation. It features a stainless steel valve body with a DIN EN 1092-1 flange connection (DN 50, PN 25) and a PPS actuator. The valve provides high seal tightness through a self-adjusting PTFE V-seal packing gland and is suitable for steam, water, neutral gases, and aggressive media.

Control Function

This specific model operates with Control Function B (CF B): pneumatically operated 2/2-way on/off valve, flow direction below seat, normally opened by spring force.

WARNING

Valve leak if there is too little minimum pilot pressure or high operating pressure! Minimum pilot pressure for CF B that is too low, or failing to meet the permitted operating pressure, can cause a leak in the valve seat.

Operating Limits

  • Medium temperature: -40 °C to +185 °C
  • Ambient temperature: -10 °C to +100 °C
  • Maximum control pressure: 7 bar (Actuator size 130 mm)

Installation and Safety

DANGER

Risk of injury from high pressure in the system or device. Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and ventilate or empty the lines.

WARNING

The actuator contains a spring under tension. When the actuator is opened, the spring will jump out and may cause injuries. Do not open the actuator.

DANGER

Explosion hazard due to electrostatic charging! If a statically charged device or person discharges suddenly, there is an explosion risk in potentially explosive areas. Ensure the valve body and actuator are properly grounded.
