BURKERT 20133890 (Type 2973) 2/2-way manual diaphragm valve. Features DN 25 welded connection, EPDM high-temperature diaphragm, 316L investment cast body, and handles 0-10 bar pressure.

BURKERT 20133890 (Type 2973) is a 2/2-way diaphragm valve with a manually operated actuator (FullFunction). The manual actuator with a plastic handwheel ensures use in hygienic or aggressive ambient conditions. The flow-optimized valve body with minimum dead space enables high flow values of up to 14.6 m³/h. The actuator has a compact, autoclavable design and possesses a visual position indicator with a reproducible stroke scale. It also features an adjustable minimum and maximum stroke limitation and locking mechanism.

The 20133890 model features an investment cast 316L/1.4435 stainless steel body and an EPDM high-temperature diaphragm, suitable for medium temperatures from -10 °C to +143 °C.

The tightening torques refer to the static media pressures specified above. Excessive torque can shorten the service life of the diaphragm. A tolerance of +10% applies to the tightening torques specified.
It is the responsibility of the installer and the operator to ensure self-draining. The marking on the port connection of the valve body serves as an orientation aid and must point upwards. The actual self-draining angle must be set with a suitable measuring tool.
