BURKERT 20120591 Type 3361 electromotive 2-way globe control valve. Features 1/2" G thread, 0-40 bar pressure range, AG2 1300N actuator, and integrated positioner.

The BURKERT 20120591 Type 3361 is an electromotive 2-way globe control valve designed for demanding operating conditions. The electromotive actuator utilizes a ball screw to position the control cone, achieving a positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s for delay-free reaction to process signals. The specific 20120591 configuration features a 1/2" G internal thread connection, an AG2 actuator with 1300 N driving force, and an integrated positioner. It operates on a 24 V DC supply voltage and handles medium pressures from 0 to 40 bar and temperatures from -10 °C to +185 °C. The closed design and powder-coated aluminum/PPS housing provide IP65/IP67 and NEMA 4X protection, ensuring resistance to weather, impact, and vibration.

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled by standard analogue signals. The electromotive linear actuator is designed to provide optimum efficiency and keeps the valve tight and in position even at the maximum specified medium pressure in a powerless standstill.

The position of the actuator (stroke) is controlled according to the position set-point value specified by an external standard signal. The displacement transducer records the actual position (POS) of the electric linear actuator. The positioner compares the actual position value with the position set-point value (CMD). If there is a system deviation, the electric motor drive is controlled via the actuating variable CTRL and the actual position value is changed accordingly.
TIP
The valve position can be changed manually in two ways: via the electrical manual control or via a mechanical manual override if no supply voltage is available.
