Spirax Sarco thermodynamic steam traps: design features, model range, technical specifications, and cold water capacities covering TD16 to TD120M.
Spirax Sarco thermodynamic steam traps combine reliability, simplicity, and high efficiency, with a maximum operating pressure of up to 250 bar g. The reasons why Spirax Sarco TD thermodynamic steam traps are used worldwide include the following features:
These features make it a highly versatile and reliable thermodynamic steam trap. Spirax Sarco TD thermodynamic steam traps are the ideal choice for a wide range of applications such as steam mains, steam tracing lines, jacketed pipes, coil-heated storage tanks, vats, and multi-roll flat ironers. When TD traps are installed outdoors in severe weather conditions, it is recommended to insulate the valve or fit an insulating cover on the cap to reduce heat loss and the effect of weather on the cycle frequency, thereby reducing wear and extending service life. For applications where air binding may occur, thermodynamic traps with anti-air-binding discs or separate air vents can be selected.
Spirax Sarco offers a complete range of thermodynamic steam traps to meet the needs of different users. The main products include: TD16 / TD16F, TD25, TD32F, TD42L/H, TD42S2, TD52M, BTD52L, TD46, TD62M, TD120, TD120M, etc. Among them, the BTD52L is suitable for clean steam systems, while the TD46 has a built-in air venting valve and comes standard with an insulating cover.
